Project information

Just under a year after we first broke ground on this project, Laier GmbH was able to move into its new company building in the ‘Bild’ commercial estate in Limbach-Heidersbach. This new operations site for the company, which specialises in building insulation, brings together warehousing, management and logistics over 11,000 sq. m. of space.

Employees in the management building now work in offices equipped to the most modern of standards. The equally well-furnished classrooms guarantee an optimal environment for employees’ further training.

Warehousing and logistics employees are undisturbed by even the stormiest weather in the new, canopied storage and pick-and-pack area.

The company also made future-proofing investment with regard to environmental protection. The entire heating system is operated with ground-sourced heat. A cistern unit that stores around 50,000 litres of water is used for the company’s own HGV washing station as well as for providing water to planted green areas throughout the building. On-site roads and parking spaces were built so that precipitation flows directly into the planted areas.
